Malaysia’s Petronas approves additional USD2.4 billion government payout to battle COVID-19

Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas), Malaysia state oil firm, approved another RM10 billion dividend to the government to support in the fight against COVID-19. Petronas originally pledged to pay RM24 billion to the government, its sole shareholder, this year. The committed dividends were already paid. The additional dividend will be remitted by end of November.
