India-based IT consulting and outsourcing firm eClerx acquires Austin-based business management and services company Personiv. Personiv’s 2000 employees will be retained and continue to operate independently. Most of them work at delivery centers in India and the Philippines. eClerx started its Austin presence in 2017 when it chose the location to be its Americas headquarters for its eClerx Digital division. With this acquisition eClerx will have over 11,000 employees around the world. The move will enable the companies to expand its outsourcing services including virtual accounting talent and customer experience.
