The Philippines’ electronics and IT-BPO industries shows positive progress in the implementation of the fourth industrial revolution (4IR) preparedness, said the Asian Development Bank (ADB). These two are the biggest dollar-earning sectors in the country. According to the ADB, 63% of IT-BPO companies in the Philippines are looking to the adoption of 4IR technologies to increase their productivity by more than 25% come 2025.
