Due to the rapid transmission of COVID-19 cases and the critical rate of health-care utilization, NCR has been placed under Alert Level 4 starting September 16, 2021. There are currently more than 50,000 active cases in this region alone, pushing the government to impose safety protocols under the new quarantine classification. Guidelines on restaurants, personal care services, and religious gatherings have been disseminated.
