A disruption in India’s BPO industry, which provides critical resources to US health and support workers would have a negative effect on the country’s FDI according to an India-centric US business advocacy group. The group stated that as India moves to adapt towards the “Janata curfew” due to the surge of cases amidst the coronavirus crisis, there would be a need to provide exemption to call center services that provide critical aid to America’s call centers.
