Malaysian Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein disclosed that numerous foreign leaders are expressing their concern over the political situation in the country, specifically in relation with the suppression of COVID-19.

The current political turmoil in Malaysia is reflecting badly on the country’s image to the world, especially while the government is in the works of forming collaborations with other countries to fight the pandemic and bring back the domestic economy.

Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim recently declared that he had a “formidable and convincing support from Members of Parliament (MPs) to take over the government.

The foreign minister urged the Cabinet ministers and MPs to give their full support to Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. He emphasized that if they do otherwise, they should choose to withdraw from the government so the efforts on rebuilding the nation may continue.
