IT-BPM in the Philippines will unlikely achieve the industry growth forecast of 3.5% to 7.5% in the next 3 years because of the impacts of the pandemic. Despite this, the labor requirements in the country’s IT-BPM industries and companies are seen to remain stable. The industry currently operates at 95% productive capacity through a mix of service delivery methods. These are some of the insights shared by the president and CEO of the IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) during the 12th International Innovation Summit conducted virtually on November 4, 2020.
