Malaysia’s Petronas approves additional USD2.4 billion government payout to battle COVID-19

Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas), Malaysia state oil firm, approved another RM10 billion dividend to the government to support in the fight against COVID-19. Petronas originally pledged to pay RM24 billion to the government, its sole shareholder, this year. The committed dividends were already paid.
